Volunteer Cassandra Edwards of Spring Valley confronts a man trying to cut through the playground outside of Grandview Elementary School in Monsey. He tried to push past her despite Edwards' pointing out a no-trespassing sign. Six concerned parents volunteered to guard the school property during recess, claiming unauthorized people walking through school grounds posed a safety risk to children. Members of the Orthodox Jewish community frequently cut through the playground going to and from synagogues and yeshivas. (Oct. 2, 2012)
