In a photo in Sunday's LI Life, Theodore Roosevelt appeared with two leopards killed during his extended African hunting trip in 1909-10. Because of incorrect information provided by the Library of Congress, the wrong species was given in a photo caption.

Islip Town's franchise agreement with Verizon includes public-access broadcasting. The town has not yet requested broadcasting on Verizon FiOS for its public access television show, "Spotlight Islip." Because of erroneous information provided by the town, a story in LI Life on Sunday incorrectly described the franchise agreement.

High waves at Jones Beach from last weekend's nor'easter washed over the beach and formed a temporary pond in front of the West Bathhouse. It did not create a new channel. A headline Wednesday was incorrect.
