DKMS, an international nonprofit that fights blood cancer, is hosting three bone-marrow drives across Long Island Saturday.

They will take place from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday at Signature Premier Properties offices in Northport, Smithtown and Babylon. The events are part of a larger initiative in New York City and Miami to register hundreds of bone-marrow donors.

Potential donors will have their cheeks swabbed in an effort to find an appropriate match.
