OK, so many of us are pinching pennies until they squeal, and $12.95 ($11.01 at Amazon.com) might seem a lot to spend on what, essentially, is a gag gift.
But Westmoor's black-and-white-and-pink (target audience: female) illustrations are delightful: One shows a woman peering at a towering hero sandwich, the caption saying, "It doesn't count if ... it comes on top of lettuce." I could see cutting out some pages to stick on the fridge.
THE SCOOP The book's a lightweight ... but a perfect little gift from one dieting buddy to another. Who can't use a little lift (no plastic-surgery pun intended)?
THE BOTTOM LINE Guys, do not give this to your wife, girlfriend, sister ... or your mom. Unless you go to Weight Watchers together. Or even if you do.
