Reports from county or village police, June 27-July 3

Commack

A radio and a GPS unit were reported missing from a vehicle at the Huntington Dodge dealership on Jericho Turnpike June 29.

East Northport

Two East Northport men, 19 and 20, were arrested June 27 and charged with second-degree burglary for allegedly attempting to break into an apartment on Laurel Drive. One of the suspects was arrested at the scene and the other at the Long Island Rail Road station in East Northport.

Fort Salonga

A Lake Ronkonkoma man, 32, is accused of allegedly breaking into a house on Marcelle Court earlier and stealing a pair of diamond earrings and a laptop. He was arrested June 28 on Park Avenue in Huntington and charged with second-degree burglary.

Greenlawn

A silver 2006 Honda with a 1994 flatbed trailer attached to the vehicle was reported stolen from a location on Judith Drive June 30.

Head of the Harbor

Cash and jewelry were stolen from a house on Moriches Road June 28.

Islandia

An unknown person threw a cement block at the front glass window of the Garage Eatery on Bridge Road June 29, damaging a neon display sign.

Kings Park

Graffiti was discovered June 28 on an oil storage tank on Meadow Road West.

Northport

A Centerport woman, 40, was arrested June 28 at the Stop & Shop supermarket on Fort Salonga Road and charged with petty larceny for allegedly leaving the store without paying for numerous items of groceries.

St. James

Copper piping was discovered missing June 28 from a construction site on Lenox Drive.

West Hills

Items were stolen from a vehicle June 27 on Suydam Drive.

ELSEWHERE

Babylon

A Ronkonkoma man, 45, was arrested June 30 and charged with third-degree burglary. He allegedly broke the front glass door of the Sweet Sensations store on East Main Street, entered the premises and stole cash from the register.

North Babylon

Outdoor furniture and garbage cans were turned over at a residential yard on Dollard Drive June 29.
