A Delta flight from Kennedy Airport bound for Barcelona, Spain returned to the airport Tuesday night after the pilot was alerted by a warning light indicating a possible problem, an airline spokeswoman said.
Delta Flight 94, with 210 passengers, returned and landed safely after an hour and a half in the air, she said. The aircraft, a Boeing 767-400 had departed at 6:25 p.m. for the scheduled cross-Atlantic flight.
Leslie Parker, the airline spokeswoman said, "While en route to Barcelona the captain elected to return to JFK after he received an indication light on one of the planes hydraulic systems. The aircraft landed without incident, and it's currently undergoing maintenance evaluation."
Parker said after the aircraft is checked over, the plane was expected to resume its flight to Barcelona around midnight.
