If you have a couple of extra bucks you might want to spend it Wednesday on a Powerball ticket.
The jackpot for the big-money multistate game is $422 million, the seventh-largest grand prize in Powerball history and the 11th largest in the history of U.S.-based multistate games, according to lottery records.
The jackpot is the game’s highest since May 7, when a winning ticket for $429.6 million was sold in New Jersey.
Powerball tickets cost $2 apiece.
The lump-sum cash payoff for Wednesday’s big prize is $291.8 million before taxes.
The chance of winning it all? It’s 1 in 292.2 million.
