Close. Oh, so close. That's how it must feel for the owners of two Mega Millions tickets sold in Brooklyn matching all five numbers -- except the Mega ball -- in Tuesday's $414 million jackpot.

The two tickets just missed sharing the big prize, instead settling for $1 million.

They were purchased at Arnold's Service Station on Linden Boulevard and 3 Star Discount Candy & Grocery on Avenue U, both in Brooklyn, lottery officials said.

The tickets matched the five numbers -- 11, 19, 24, 33 and 51 -- but missed the Mega Ball, 7. The jackpot is the third largest in Mega Millions history.

The two jackpot prizewinning tickets were sold in Florida and Maryland and will split the big prize.

Overall, including those from Brooklyn, eight $1 million tickets were sold in California, Florida, Illinois, Maryland and Texas.
