It’s not quite the $422 million Powerball jackpot, but two Take 5 players — one in Queens and the other on Long Island — will each cash in on a $30,502.50 winner after drawing the winning numbers on Tuesday night, officials said.
The winning Long Island ticket was purchased at the King Kullen supermarket on East Montauk Highway in Hampton Bays. The other winner was sold at the Family Foods market in Far Rockaway, according to the state Gaming Commission.
Each of the two winning tickets had the correct numbers 5, 15, 20, 33 and 38. Officials said 168 other players had four of the five numbers correct and will each collect $544.50.
The drawings for Take 5 take place every day at 11:21 p.m. The five winning numbers are drawn from a field of 39 numbers.
Winners can claim their prizes at any of the New York Lottery’s Customer Service Centers statewide, including one on the south service road of the Long Island Expressway in Plainview and one at the Resorts World casino on Rockaway Boulevard in Jamaica, Queens, officials said.
In all, officials said 78,814 players won a prize in the Tuesday night drawing.
