A Sweet 16 party in Pennsylvania was ruined Sunday by fecal matter falling from the sky, her family said.
Jacinda Cambray was celebrating her 16th birthday with 40 of her friends and family in the backyard of her family's home when feces started raining down on them.
"Out of nowhere, from the sky, comes a bunch of feces," Joe Cambray, the teen's stepfather, said to Fox 29.
"We just got done with cake, thank God we took the cake back in," his sister Kristie Rogy said. "Within two minutes something fell from the sky. It was brown, it was everywhere, it got on everything."
The Cambrays suspect the feces fell from an airplane flying overhead. Rogy used her smartphone to search for planes flying above the party, with five planes flying over the residence around the time the feces fell, according to Fox 29.
Airplanes are required to dispose of all waste at an airport. The valve to release the waste is located on the outside of the plane, according to Slate.com, but waste can seep out of the tanks if there is a leak.
The Cambrays filed a complaint with the Federal Aviation Administration, which said it will investigate the incident, according to Fox 29.
