She came and she conquered.
Standing 5 feet tall and weighing only 100 pounds, former gymnast Kacy Catanzaro became the first woman in “American Ninja Warrior” history to master the show’s challenging obstacle course on Monday.
By completing feats of strength that included climbing a ladder using only her upper body strength, Catanzaro, who competed on Towson University’s gymnastics team, will now move on to the show’s final round in Las Vegas.
With word of her amazing performance spreading, Catanzaro’s star is now rising on social media, with fans using the hashtag #MightyKacy. The incredible athlete took to Twitter to thank her fans.
“Thank you for all of the support..it means so much to me!” she tweeted, sharing a photo from the end of the obstacle course. “At the top of the tower just trying to take it all in."
