President Barack Obama may be a fan of the Chicago Bears’ Mike Ditka, but Mike Ditka is no fan of his. The former Bears coach made his feelings of our nation’s current leader very clear when he went on WABC’s The Bernie & Sid Show on Thursday.

“Obama’s the worst president we’ve ever had,” the NFL legend said during the radio show. He “would be great to play golf with” but, “he’s not a leader.”

According to The Washington Post, Obama is known to be a longtime Bears fan. He even honored the team by welcoming them to the White House in honor of their 1985 Super Bowl win.

But, a love of football isn’t enough to sell Ditka on Obama’s political decisions.

“This country needs leadership. It needs direction. It needs somebody that steps up front,” he said.

Who does Dika think fits that mold? Republican front-runner Donald Trump.

“If I were to vote tomorrow, I’d probably vote for Trump,” he said. He goes on to explain that his decision to support Trump stems from a loyalty to the Republican Party, and an opposition of Hillary Clinton, who is the Democratic front-runner for president.

“Does Donald do everything right? No.” he said. “But people like him because he says things that resonate with what they think.”
