UTAH / Lawmaker in scandal quits
Utah's state House majority leader resigned the Legislature Saturday, two days after acknowledging he paid a woman $150,000 to keep quiet about a nude hot-tubbing incident that took place about 25 years ago when she was a teen. Instead, they may have been applied intermittently, the newspaper said. Toyota Corp. spokesman Mike Michels declined to confirm the report.
