Nisa Mickens' parents attend State of the Union

Elizabeth Alvarado and Rob Mickens, the parents of slain Brentwood High School student Nisa Mickens, were invited by the White House to attend the State of the Union address on Jan. 30, 2018. Before entering a White House reception both parents recalled their teenage daughter, who alongside schoolmate Kayla Cuevas, was brutally beaten to death by alleged MS-13 gang members in 2016.
