See photos of the super blue blood moon from around the world

For the first time in more than 35 years, the world got to witness the lunar trifecta, also known as the super blue blood moon. On Wednesday, Jan. 31, 2018, a lunar eclipse – also known as a blood moon – was visible from earth. It was also the second full moon of the month, making it a blue moon. And finally, the moon also happened to be closer to the earth, making it appear bigger and brighter, a phenomenon referred to as a supermoon. NASA says the occurrence won't happen again until 2037.
