Beauty junkie: New products we love (Shu Uemura, Topshop, Estee Lauder)

Estee Lauder Long Lasting Lipstick, $24, and Pure Color Gelee, $20; at department stores
You won’t need coffee if you apply one of the colors in Lauder’s 2011 collection of eye-popping, super-shiny Spring Brights, a sample of “wild” satin finishes with an injection of Vitamins C and E. Not shiny enough? Slick on a layer of Lauder’s new nonsticky glosses in coordinating colors. (Sheila Anne Feeney)

Shu Uemura Yokan Craft Texturizing Melt, $33; at
This evergreen-clear jelly designed to shape and shine up short to medium-length hair also makes an awesome fondant to hold eyebrows beautifully in place. The contents sound oddly edible (extracts of algae, rice, honey and green tea), but the stuff smells amazing — like juniper trees and the ocean. (SAF)

Sephora Collection Supreme Cleansing Foam, $15, and Instant Moisturizer, $20; at Sephora stores
Sephora’s cleansing foam and moisturizer are two must-haves from the beauty chain’s recently launched Sephora Collection line of skincare. The cleanser acts as a feel-good face wash and a surprisingly effective eye-makeup remover. The hydrating (but not greasy) oil-free moisturizer is the perfect follow-up. An age-defying moisturizer is also part of the collection. (Julie Gordon)

Topshop Coloured Mascara in Blast (cobalt blue) and Rustle (plum), $16 each; at Topshop, 478 Broadway, 212-966-9555
On those days you don’t want to go with Kim Kardashian-esque black tarantula lashes, the understated polish of Topshop’s mascara works just fine. Not too clumpy, not much flaking, formulated to provide a combination of volume and curl. (SAF)

Caudalie Vine Body Butter, $36; at Caudalie Vinotherapie Spa, 1 W. 58th St., 212- 265-3182
This 6.7 oz. tube of lemony-scented balm is a sure-fire barrier against the desiccating effects of winter winds and dry indoor air. Caudalie credits “vinolevure,” a fancy molecule that can hold 100 times its weight in water and allegedly protects skin from “external aggressors,” for its slick slip and awesome moisturizing effects. Maybe the fair trade shea butter and grape seed butter, loaded with anti-oxidants, are responsible for our non-scaly, suddenly well- nourished skin. We don’t care: We just like it. (SAF)

Piret & Tamara Long Wear Creaseless Silocone Eyeshadow, $35; at
These tiny pots of stay-put cream shadows are perfect for popping in your purse and using for touch-ups during the day. The creamy formula dries immediately on lids, and actually stays put throughout the day. Feeling creative? Shades can easily be blended together. (JG)
