Beauty junkie: What we can't get enough of

beauty

Dolce & Gabbana The Animalier Bronzer, $50; at Saks Fifth Avenue
D&G has emerged as one of my new must-have makeup lines, and this luxe, limited-edition bronzer gives a rich flush that’s neither too orange nor too muddy. The gorgeous print brushes right off, but what’s left is a perfect buildable dual-shade bronzer. (Perrie Samotin)

Ahava Liquid Dead Sea Salt, $22; at Lord & Taylor
The cult brand has created yet another can’t-live-without body product using Dead Sea minerals. I just slather on a healthy dose of the smooth gel (note: it doesn’t feel grainy like a scrub), wait two minutes, rinse and immediately experience healthy, supremely soft skin.  (Julie Gordon)

Clarins 50+ SPF Sunscreen for Face Wrinkle Control Cream, $32; at department stores
The quality of my face sunscreen should mirror the quality of my day-to-day skincare regimen — exactly what I get with this non-greasy formula that both keeps my face burn-free (reapply, reapply, reapply!) and protects against premature signs of aging. (JG)

Alterna Bamboo Volume Abundant Volume Shampoo $20, and Conditioner, $20; at Sephora
Limp, flat locks is the No. 1 hair problem for this straight-haired gal, and this magic stuff does what it promises, delivering voluminous, thicker-feeling hair courtesy  of bamboo extract and maca root. (JG)

Dermablend Smooth Indulgence Mineral Finishing Powder, $24; at Macy’s
Only a light dusting of this powder is necessary to create a flawless face. The powder is light yet powerful — Dermablend is known for its ability to cover blemishes and redness in the skin. (JG)
