The owner of a bogus modeling and talent agency that enticed men, women and kids with the promise of lucrative work only to trick them into paying for website postings of their availability for nonexistent jobs has been fined almost a $1 million, the Department of Consumer Affairs said Wednesday.

More than seven-dozen consumers filed complaints about Bradley Poster, who was ordered to pay $908,400 for operating an unlicensed agency that operated at 224 W. 35th St. under names such as WMT Model & Talent Network Development, LTD, World Model Talent, among others.

It was not Poster's first run in with the DCA: In 2005, Poster's former business, "Look International" was fined $27,000 for operating an unlicensed employment agency.
