Bronx man sentenced to 16 years for Times Sq. "wilding"

A Bronx man who copped to shooting two women Easter evening during a Times Square “wilding” that has become an annual tradition was sentenced to 16 years in prison yesterday.

Rayvon Guice, 21, apologized to the women he injured – a 19-year-old shot in the elbow and another 19-year-old shot in the thigh - and smiled broadly at his supporters, who jammed Manhattan Supreme Court Justice Carol Berkman’s courtroom and called out shouts of support.

Guice pleaded guilty earlier this month to attempted murder charges, saying he didn’t intend to shoot the victims.

More than 30 youths were arrested in the April 4-5 rampage, which has become a violent tradition around the time of the New York International Auto Show.
