The body of a 62-year-old jazz musician was found stuffed inside a storage trunk in his Brooklyn home, according to reports and police.
Police discovered Stanley Wright in his Chauncey Street home in Brownsville about 3:30 a.m. Tuesday. Wright had reportedly not been seen since last week.
Cops searched the home and found a broken window in the basement where Wright was discovered after his son reported him missing, according to the Daily News.
Police said the medical examiner’s office was to conduct an autopsy.
Wright, who performed under the name Sulaiman Hakim, had also taught music and given music lessons.
A widower, Wright was the father of three children, including the actress N’Bushe Wright, who appeared in the movie “Dead Presidents.”
