A Brooklyn man was found dead of gunshot wounds on Christmas Day in his apartment near Prospect Park, police said Saturday.
Nigel Tempro, 43, had two gunshot wounds to the back of the head and neck, police said. His body was found Friday in the bedroom of the apartment in the Prospect Lefferts Gardens neighborhood by his son, 22, police said.
Tempro had not been seen or heard from for two days, police said. He may have been dead for a couple of days before his body was found, they said.
There was no sign of forced entry at the apartment on Flatbush Avenue near Linden Boulevard, police said.
The victim had been arrested earlier this year for marijuana possession, police said.
