Cardinal Edward Egan, who recently got out ofthe hospital, will be preaching at a Good Friday service at St.Patrick's Cathedral in Manhattan.
The noon service focuses on the Seven Last Words of Christ.

Egan says he has not completely recovered from a health scare.
But he's determined to lead worshippers through his last Holy Weekbefore retiring as head of the Roman Catholic Archdiocese of NewYork.
On Thursday, he celebrated Holy Thursday Mass. He also plans tolead Easter Mass at the cathedral.
Egan, who's 77, says he went to the hospital with a severegastrointestinal virus. While treating him, doctors suggested apacemaker for a heart condition. He plans to consult more doctorsabout his options.
