Hey, remember Catherine Zeta-Jones?

Yeah, it HAS been a while since you've seen her.

Before this year, her last major film was 2007's "No Reservations."

But she didn't completely disappear.

You might have caught her on Broadway in "A Little Night Music" from 2009-10, which landed her a bevy of awards, including the Tony Award for Best Performance by a Leading Actress in a Musical as well as Outstanding Actress in a Musical from both the Drama Desk and Outer Critics Circle awards.

Or you might have seen her on the Buzz page for getting treatment for bipolar II disorder.

She did have one film get released since 2007 - the 2009 romantic comedy "The Rebound" with Justin Bartha - but it failed to get released in the United States until this year ... direct to DVD and Blu-ray.

But this year, Mrs. Michael Douglas has three theatrical releases, with two more coming early next year. But should we expect more work like her Oscar-winning turn in the film musical "Chicago," or bland performances like in "The Terminal"?

amNewYork is here to investigate.

'Rock of Ages'
Arriving nearly dead on arrival, this overblown adaptation of the Broadway rock spectacle featured Zeta-Jones in the villainous role of Patricia Whitmore who leads protests against the rock venue in the film. You can hear her show off her singing chops on covers of "Hit Me With Your Best Shot" and a mashup of "We Built This City" and "We're Not Gonna Take It." (Released June 15)

'Lay the Favorite'
Zeta-Jones plays the wife of gambler Dink (Bruce Willis). She also seems to be seducing Joshua Jackson. Expectations are low. (Opens Friday)

'Playing For Keeps'
In this Gerard Butler film, Zeta-Jones plays a soccer mom who has her eyes set on a former pro-soccer player who is coaching his son's soccer team. Little chance of a goal here. (Opens Friday)

'Broken City'
In this thriller, Zeta-Jones plays the wife of the mayor of New York City (Russell Crowe). The mayor brings in an ex-cop (Mark Wahlberg) to seek out the guy he suspects is sleeping with her. Could be decent ... but it IS coming out in January. (Out Jan. 18)

'Side Effects'
Zeta-Jones reunites with her "Traffic" director Steven Soderbergh for this Channing Tatum/Rooney Mara vehicle about prescription drugs. The trailer is cryptic, so it's hard to gauge. (Out Feb. 8)
