On Sept. 19, there will be a Charlie-Ashton showdown.
Going head to head on TV that night will be the Comedy Central roast of Charlie Sheen and the premiere episode of “Two and a Half Men” featuring Sheen’s replacement on the CBS sitcom, Ashton Kutcher.
Now, regarding potential Sheen jokes, there’s obviously a ton of material to draw from (goddesses, #winning, that infamous “20/20” interview) — something even the Warlock himself admits.
“You could say I’ve been providing kindling for this roast for a while,” Sheen said in a statement yesterday. “It’s time to light it up. It’s going to be epic.”
There’s no word yet which celebri-roasters will have the honor of poking fun at Sheen, but we assume the usual Comedy Central suspects — Jeffrey Ross, Lisa Lampanelli, Snoop Dogg, Whitney Cummings and the like (we can’t imagine Mike “The Situation” Sorrentino will be invited back following his Donald Trump roast disaster) — are already putting on their roasting caps to think of bits that go beyond the obvious.
