Steven Soderbergh’s last film before his retirement provides an intimate look into the private and public life of flamboyant Las Vegas performer Liberace. Starring Michael Douglas, below, as Liberace and Matt Damon as his lover Scott Thor- son, biopic “Behind the Candelabra” documents the couple’s tumultuous six-year love affair.
