‘The Window: People in the City’
Scope out the people in the city through the view of Kiyoshi Kawaguchi’s window. The Tokyo artist’s acrylic paintings will be on display at Viridian Artists gallery in the exhibit “The Window: People in the City.” An opening reception will be held Saturday, and the exhibit runs through Sept. 21. The Public Theater presents ‘The Tempest’
A storm’s a-brewin’ in Central Park this weekend as The Public Theater reinvents what many believe is Shakespeare’s last play. This rendition of Shakespeare In The Park turns “The Tempest” into an original musical, featuring more than 200 New Yorkers from across the city in the community ensemble. Score your FREE tickets (two per person) the day of the show via a virtual ticketing drawing at shakes peareinthepark.org.
