A 13-year-old girl suspected in the abduction of her niece, a 20-month-old child, was found with the toddler late Tuesday night police said. Both were found in good condition, police said.
An Amber Alert focusing on New York City, Westchester and Long Island, was sent out Tuesday about 7 p.m. in hopes of finding the pair. The alert was canceled just after 11 p.m.
The 13-year-old took the child, identified as Giavonna Vizard, from the baby's home on St. Lawrence Avenue in the Bronx about 1 p.m. Tuesday after a domestic dispute, police said.
The 13-year-old, who police said is a chronic runaway, had no known way to care for or protect the child, New York City and State Police said.
