A couple and a boy were found dead in their Bed-Stuy apartment late Monday night, police said.
Cops responded to the a call of a foul odor at a Lafayette Avenue building shortly before midnight and found the bodies of an unidentified 44-year-old man, 51-year-old woman and boy, who was under 10-years-old, the NYPD said.
Each person had a gunshot wound to their head and a firearm was discovered at the scene.
Published reports identified the adult victims as David Sherrod and his wife as Alma Cox.
Police declined to comment on reports that the killings were a murder-suicide and were awaiting the results of an autopsy Tuesday afternoon.
