In a trembling voice, wide-eyed exotic dancer Ginger Lee yesterday told reporters in Manhattan that Rep. Anthony Weiner sent her about 100 emails, some that touted the virtues of his “package.”

Lee, with ubiquitous celebrity lawyer Gloria Allred glued to her side at the Friars Club, said Weiner “asked me to lie” about those online chats when the sex scandal erupted last month.

On June 2, the ex-porn star said Weiner called and told her “to stay calm and the story would die down.” She issued a statement and “did what he told me to do — I stayed in the house, avoided photographers.”

Lee, 28, who hails from Tennessee, is one of several women whom Weiner has sent sexy photos and texts to during the past three years.

Meanwhile, House Democratic leaders could take the first steps toward stripping the seven-term Congressman from his seat on the Energy and Commerce Committee when they meet today, Politico.com reported.

Both Democratic and Republican leaders have called on Weiner, 46, to resign, including House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.). Even President Barack Obama said he’d step down if he were in Weiner’s position.

Weiner, who reportedly is undergoing sex addiction treatment at an undisclosed location, is on a two-week leave of absence from Congress. He reportedly has told friends he wants to speak with his pregnant wife, Huma Abedin, before deciding whether to quit. Abedin, a top aide to Secretary of State Hillary Clinton, returned to Washington yesterday after a weeklong trip to Africa.

Before Lee jetted off to an Atlanta strip club engagement last night, she detailed her history with Weiner, which began in March.

“Anytime that he would take our communications in a sexual direction, I did not reciprocate,” she said, adding that she was coming forward now to dispel reports that they had an online relationship.

Lee said she contacted Allred after someone “threatened to release a statement from me, which I did not authorize.” She did not elaborate.
