Morning TV newsman Greg Kelly allegedly exchanged more than a dozen flirty text messages with the woman accusing him of rape, according to reports Sunday.

Kelly, the son of Police Commissioner Ray Kelly, denied the allegations made by the 29-year-old paralegal who claims he sexually assaulted her Oct. 8 when they went to her office after having drinks at a South Street Seaport bar.

The New York Post reported he met his accuser, an aspiring model, on the street after she recognized him. They shared 17 text messages before meeting for drinks two days later, according to The New York Post. The texting continued after the alleged incident, the report said.

Manhattan District Attorney Cy Vance Jr. wouldn't comment specifically about the case, but told NBC New York on Saturday, "We make our judgments on the facts, and not based on any consideration of who the victim is or who the accused is."

Kelly, 43, has been the co-host of Fox 5's "Good Day New York" since 2008.

The Daily News identified the bar as Jeremy's Ale House, which is decorated with bras hanging from the ceiling.

The woman allegedly got pregnant and had an abortion, according to multiple reports. She came forward with the allegations last Tuesday, after her boyfriend had previously confronted the elder Kelly at a public event.

Greg Kelly has taken time off from his job. The case was moved to the DA's office to avoid a conflict of interest.
