Herman Cain admitted Thursday that he never told his wife about a cushy financial arrangement with an Atlanta woman, who alleges she had a 13-year affair with the GOP presidential hopeful.
The revelation involving Ginger White is only the latest personal bombshell in a teetering campaign on the skids for the former Godfather's Pizza CEO, political observers say.
"My wife did not know about it, and that was the revelation. My wife found out about it when [White] went public with it," Cain said, according to an interview with the New Hampshire Union Leader newspaper.
While Cain, 65, has denied an affair, he did come clean about paying
White's "month-to-month bills and expenses."
He added that he's still considering exiting the race, although his wife wouldn't ask him to.
