Kim Kardashian's pregnancy was a "pleasant surprise," especially considering her issues with fertility.
In an interview with the "Today" show's Savannah Guthrie Tuesday, the 31-year-old mama-to-be - who is expecting her first child with boyfriend Kanye West - said she has experienced struggles similar to those her sister Khloe Kardashian has publicly gone through with hubby Lamar Odom.
"I know Khloe has always been very open about her fertility issues and I was always kind of quiet about mine," Kim said. "I have similar issues. So it was a pleasant surprise when so many doctors were telling me one thing and the opposite happens. That's an exciting moment. You know, it's such a blessing, knowing my circumstances."
Kim, who is due in July, said getting married is "something we talk about, but right now the focus is on the baby." Complicating matters is the fact that Kim is still technically married to Nets baller Kris Humphries, even though the two split in October 2011, reportedly because Humphries refuses to sign the divorce papers.
"As much as I would like to be in a perfect world where I was divorced, you can't plan for any of that," Kim said.
