Could Lindsay Lohan be staring at the slammer again?
The Hollywood starlet turned rehab regular goes before a California judge Wednesday, and that’s when she could be sentenced to as much as a year and a half in prison for violating her probation, TMZ.com reported yesterday.
The website said the judge has plenty of questions about Lohan’s behavior, including why she failed to show up for her community service at the Downtown Women’s Center in Los Angeles nine times.
It was a job she was required to perform after a judge ruled in April that she had violated the terms of her probation in connection with her alleged theft of a gold chain from a jewelry store.
After being a repeat no-show at the skid row women’s shelter, Lohan was fired and transferred to the American Red Cross, according to reports.
But TMZ said the actress also didn’t meet with her shrink for one hour every Monday as ordered by the court, although Lohan claims she met with a therapist by phone.
On Friday, Lohan said via Twitter she is “not to be made an example of anymore.”
“I’d appreciate it if people will just let me do what is asked of me, so that I can get my life back,” she added.
