Let's hope she means it this time.
Lindsay Lohan yet again swore to friends that she's staying sober the rest of her life, abstaining from drugs, alcohol and any law-breaking after she was slapped with three years probation, community service and a stint of jail time, TMZ reported yesterday.
Lohan, 24, got that sentence for violating her 2007 DUI-bust probation by being arrested for allegedly stealing a $2,500 necklace from a California jewelry store. She pleaded no contest to stealing the necklace.
She also reportedly reiterated to friends that she supports her latest sentence and that she's finally learned her lesson.
Last week when the sentence was handed down, she said: "I am glad to be able to put this past me and move on with my life and my career."
Lohan will likely serve her "jail time," at home, and possibly for as little as 17 days.
The "Mean Girls" star most recently swore off drugs and alcohol in January, before reportedly testing positive for alcohol in February, when the Los Angeles County probation department said Lohan's "substance abuse is the root" of her problems.
Lohan's publicist wouldn't comment on the report Sunday.
