A high-profile male model who was left in a coma after a surfing accident has died, according to reports.
Charles DeVoe, 28, of Astoria, posed for Dolce Gabbana, Abercrombie and Fitch and Anne Klein ad campaigns. On Nov. 12, he was dragged underwater for several minutes in the Rockaways after his surfboard cord became caught on a wooden pole.
"This is a stunning and tragic loss for all those who loved and cared for him," his agent Jason Kanner told The Daily News.
His family said in a statement to the newspaper that DeVoe loved adventure sports and “will be greatly missed.”
