A man was hospitalized late Saturday night after being slashed on the subway.
The unidentified 32-year-old straphanger was riding a southbound No. 4 train at the Bowling Green station when four or five men came on board and sliced his face with a knife, a police spokesman said Sunday. Cops were unsure if the attackers knew the victim, or why he may have been targeted, he said.
EMS workers rushed him to New York Downtown Hospital at around 11:20 p.m., officials said, and his injuries were not life threatening.
There were no arrests Sunday night.
