A man already suspected of attacking five women in Brooklyn since March assaulted his sixth victim on Friday as she left a Park Slope subway station, according to police.
The man followed the woman as she walked out of a Prospect Avenue subway station at about 8:30p.m., police said.
She fought him off and escaped, apparently scaring him.
Police said last night they don’t have a suspect or any leads.
The man — whom police describe as 5 feet 7 inches, 25 to 30 years old and about 165 pounds — is also wanted or the five other attacks. Police believe his most recent previous assault was in late June, when he tried to rape a 36-year-old woman in the lobby of her Sunset Park apartment.
Prior to that, he tried to rapetwo women in Bay Ridge, one on March 20 and another on May 3, along with a Sunset Park womanin late May, police said. All of those attacks happened between 10:30 p.m.and 4 a.m., and all the women escaped withminor injures.
His only rape, police said, was June 4, when he attacked a woman in the vestibule of her Sunset Park apartment building.
