FDNY: NYC buildings collapse after reported explosion

A blast from a suspected gas leak set off an inferno that burned four Manhattan buildings and caused two to collapse, injuring at least 19 people, four of them critically, on Thursday, March 26, 2015, New York City officials said. More than 250 firefighters responded to the scene on Second Avenue in East Village.
