We'd barely just rid ourselves of visions of Versace's pink palm trees and Greek key leggings when H&M announced in November that it would be joining forces with Marni for a spring collaboration.
"Ugh - we have to wait until March?!" was the first thought we had, especially after seeing the strategically rolled-out campign images, dreamy Sofia Coppola-directed videos and still- life product photos. Truth be told, March came around faster than we'd anticipated, and the wait is over: The line hits stores on Thursday.
The Italian house - known for its quirky mixed prints, bold colors and atypical silhouettes - created clothing and accessories for both women and men, and from what we've seen, it might be the strongest high-low collaboration yet.
The collection is set to hit six H&M locations, all of which will open at 8 a.m., which probably means dedicated shoppers should queue up sometime around sunrise. Above, a few of our must-have items:
