Mayor Bill de Blasio cancels White House meeting

New York City Mayor Bill de Blasio abruptly canceled his plans to attend a White House meeting with President Donald Trump on Wednesday, citing a letter sent by the Department of Justice targeting so-called sanctuary cities such as New York that refuse to cooperate with federal immigration enforcement officers. White House Press Secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders took aim at the mayor's boycott during the daily press briefing.
