Giuliana and Bill Rancic's struggle to have a child has made them appreciate absolutely every moment with their 2-week old son, Edward Duke, who was born via a surrogate.
"Just because we struggled so long to have a baby, that now that he's here we're not going to complain - you're never going to hear us complaining," the 37-year-old E! News gal said on NBC's "Today" show yesterday. "So I love doing the night feedings. I just love spending every second I can with him."
In addition to being a new mom, Giuliana - who battled breast cancer last year - is busy working to promote early detection of breast cancer; Wednesday, she discussed P&G's Do It For The Girls Day, which takes place Thursday.
"This was the best year of my life because of the baby and it was the worst year of my life because of the breast cancer," she told "Today's" Savannah Guthrie. "But it just goes to show that if you're strong and you're positive, great things can come out of the darkest time in your life."
