'The Dark Knight Rises'
Christopher Nolan's epic Batman series comes to its brutal finale as the Dark Knight (Christian Bale) faces off against the cruel, odd-voiced Bane (Tom Hardy) and the Catwoman (Anne Hathaway). It's a long, harsh ride, but it's hard to deny Nolan's craft here: The film looks great, the acting is wonderful and the story is satisfying. You can get the new film alone, or the entire trilogy. (DVD, $28.98; Blu-ray/DVD combo, $35.99; Blu-ray/DVD Limited Edition, $39.99. 'The Dark Knight Trilogy,' DVD, $38.99; Blu-ray, $52.99)

'Hope Springs'
Meryl Streep and Tommy Lee Jones play an older couple who go to a therapist (played by Steve Carell) in a bid to jump-start their marriage. (DVD, $30.99; Blu-ray, $35.99)

'The Odd Life of Timothy Green' and 'Butter'
Jennifer Garner stars in "The Odd Life of Timothy Green" as a mother who, with her husband (played Joel Edgerton), buries their wishes for a child in their garden, which then mystically grows them a child. Then, in "Butter," she stars as a woman who carves butter art. Ladies and gentlemen: Acting! ('Odd life': DVD, $29.99; Blu-ray/DVD combo, $39.99. 'Butter': DVD, $24.98; Blu-ray, $29.99)

'Beasts of the Southern Wild'
One of the big film festival hits of last year - it won awards at both Cannes and Sundance - this indie set in a fantastical Louisiana region called the "Bathtub" follows a young girl (Quvenzhane Wallis) and her father (Dwight Henry) as they face the threat of a terrible flood. (DVD, $29.98; Blu-ray/DVD combo, $39.99)

'My Little Pony - Friendship is Magic: Season One'
You know what's magic? Friendship, that's what. And who better to show that to you than flying ponies that go on adventures through Ponyville. Oh, just admit it, you're a huge Pinkie Pie fan. (DVD, $34.99)

'Eastbound & Down: The Complete Third Season' (DVD, $29.98; Blu-ray, $39.98)
'The Simpsons: Season 15' (DVD, $49.98; Blu-ray, $59.99)
'Star Trek: The Next Generation - Season Two' (Blu-ray, $129.99)
