NYC Restaurant Week Winter 2010 kicks off on Monday, and there are plenty of new treats in store.
This year’s roster of restaurants hits an all-time high, with 260. Newbies include West Village Italianr restaurant dell’anima (lunch only), upscale Italian spot SD26 (lunch only) and April Bloomfield and Ken Friedman’s new Breslin Bar & Dining Room (lunch only), located in the Ace hotel.
A brand-new addition this time around is the NYC Restaurant Week Truck, which will feature a menu of soups from 24 Restaurant Week participants.
Delicacies from the likes of ‘21’ Club, Delmonico’s Steakhouse and Tribeca Grill will be available. The truck will be up and running weekdays only, from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m., Jan. 25-Feb. 5. To keep tabs on its changing whereabouts and menu, follow @nycgo on Twitter.
The “week” actually extends over two weeks, spanning Jan. 25- Feb. 7. Some restaurants will even extend their offerings through Feb. 28. Prices for three-course lunches and dinners are holding steady, at $24.07 and $35, respectively.
