President Barack Obama believes Indiana will emerge from the NCAA Tournament as the national champion, he revealed on SportsCenter.
Obama’s other Final Four picks are Louisville, Florida and Ohio State. He told Andy Katz of ESPN that he thinks, “this is Indiana’s year.”
Obama mostly picked the higher seeds. However, he chose a few upset, including picking the winner of last night’s first-round game between No. 13 seeds Boise State and La Salle to knock off No. 4 Kansas State. He also chose No. 11 Minnesota over No. 6 UCLA and No. 10 Cincinnati to down No. 7 Creighton.
Obama has filled out a bracket every year since taking office in 2009.
