Todd Palin, the husband of potential presidential candidate Sarah Palin, “is caught up in a sleazy sex scandal” involving an affair with a massage therapist who pleaded no-contest to prostitution, the National Enquirer reported.
Shailey Tripp, 36, a licensed massage therapist was arrested in Anchorage last March and police confiscated evidence that “could” tie Todd Palin “to an alleged extramarital affair,” the paper said.
An anonymous Jan. 4 email from firstname.lastname@example.org sent to several media outlets sparked the story.
"According to the tenants in the building of her offices, they saw Todd come and go often and heard noises that sounded like someone was having sex," the email reportedly read.
Todd Palin’s reps “vehemently deny he cheated on his wife,” the Enquirer said.
Tripp, who could not be reached for comment, pleaded no contest last June and agreed to complete 80 hours of volunteer service, not post ads on Craigslist and pay a $500 fine, the tab reported. If she complies, the case will be dismissed at her June sentencing.
