‘Dark Skies: The Declassified Complete Series’
I’ll forgive you if you don’t remember the short-lived NBC sci-fi series "Dark Skies: The Declassified Complete Series," which ran from 1996-97. I don’t remember it either. But as I immersed myself in this series, set in the 1960s, I became engrossed and engaged by its dense story of alien invasions and government cover-ups. Any fan of “The X-Files” needs to buy this series right now. (DVD, $44.99)

‘Buried’
Ryan Reynolds gets trapped underground in a coffin and needs to find a way out. Bet he wishes he had his Green Lantern ring. (DVD & Blu-ray combo, $29.95)

‘Marvel Knights: Black Panther’
This animated series, based on the Marvel comic, was an action-packed epic featuring the voice work of Djimon Hounsou and Stan Lee. (DVD, $14.97)

‘Freakonomics’
This anthology documentary centered on the popular book has some great segments and some not-so-great segments. I’m sure there is an economic term for that. (DVD, $26.98; Blu-ray, $29.98)

‘Animal Kingdom’
This Aussie crime film was one of the gems of last year’s Sundance Film Festival. (DVD, $28.95; Blu-ray, $34.95)

‘Stone’
What happens when two actors (Edward Norton and Robert De Niro), each one of the finest actors of their generation, come together? Corn rows! (DVD, $29.98; Blu-ray, $39.99)

‘Death Race 2’
The actors are different, but we’re here for the cars. (DVD, $29.98; Blu-ray, $39.98)

‘Jack Goes Boating’
Phillip Seymour Hoffman makes his directorial debut. (DVD, $29.98; Blu-ray, $39.99)

‘Merlin: The Complete Second Season’
There’s no need to wait for “Camelot,” you’ve got your medieval right here. (DVD, $49.98)
