A nearly 75-foot Norway spruce that hails from rural Pennsylvania will spend its final days at the center of the world as the Rockefeller Center Christmas tree.

A giant crane on Friday will lift the 10-ton tree into place so it can be decked out with more than 30,000 light bulbs and topped with a Swarovski crystal star.

The tree-lighting ceremony will take place Nov. 30.
