Michel Cluizel has been creating delectable chocolate confections for more than half a century, and he keeps coming up with treats that manage to be both original and incredibly satisfying.
His latest? A trifecta of tasty truffles: the zesty Praline Citron; the sugar-cane-rum infused Ganache au Rhum; and salty-sweet Paradoxe.
We recently swung by Cluizel’s Fifth Avenue boutique for a tasting of these creations ($2 each), which sadly won’t be available until September. And the wait is killing us.
In the meantime, though, there’s plenty of other offerings with which to indulge any immediate chocolate cravings.
Cluizel’s favorite? The Mendiants — chocolate coins piled with nuts and raisins.
