ABC has named its next "Bachelor."
Sean Lowe - who came in third place on the most recent season "The Bachelorette," with Emily Maynard at its center - has nabbed the spot, the network announced Tuesday. Lowe, 28, is a Dallas-based businessman and entrepreneur.
The 17th season of the reality show is to premiere in January.
Rumor had it that Roberto Martinez - who was formerly engaged to Season 6 "Bachelorette" Ali Fedotowsky - and Olympic swimming champ Ryan Lochte were in the running for the "Bachelor" job.
