Singer Lily Allen has suffered her second miscarriage in three years, her rep told People yesterday.
The 25-year-old British singer was six months along with a baby boy who was due in January, she said in the October issue of Stylist Magazine.
She and her decorator boyfriend Sam Cooper, 32, announced their pregnancy in August.
"The couple ask that their privacy be respected and that they be left alone at this deeply distressing time,” her rep said in a statement yesterday.
In 2008, she and then-boyfriend Ed Simons lost their baby weeks after announcing she was pregnant.
The “Smile” singer, who nearly as famous for being her partying as much as her music, was scheduled to perform at Elton John’s AIDS fundraiser in London last Saturday, but canceled her appearance.
Earlier this year, Allen told a British radio show that having children was “the main goal of her life,” according to People.
